This house is currently for sale - Vancouver Lights did a wonderful post on it with more detail. Listing is here. The house needs tonnes of love, but it is, oh, so gorgeous, and is well worth it!

Wasnt this the Erickson that was supposed to be torn down? or was that another waterfront house in west van?
According to the Globe and Mail, this was designed by Bruno Freschi.
There is no intent to tear the house down right now, that I know of. As for Bruno Freschi's contribution - I would defer to the article; however, it was done in Erickson's office - likely a team effort one way or another. Hope that helps!
